Decision:

The Executive Member has noted that no comments were made by the Adur Planning Committee concerning the proposed updates to the checklist; has approved the updated Adur Planning and Climate Change Checklist to be published online and used as a material consideration when determining any relevant planning applications.  The Executive Member has also noted that the review of the Adur Local Plan will in time supersede this checklist and of course will need to be amended to accord with changing national planning policies and guidance.

Decision:

The Adur Executive Member for Resources, Cllr Angus Dunn, has agreed to abstain from this decision as a Worthing matter.

 

The WBC Executive Member for Resources has approved the award of the contract to A&F Pilbeam Construction Ltd on the terms set out in this report; authorised the Council to enter into the Construction Contract with A&F Pilbeam Construction Ltd; approved the use of £1,123,907.34 of the AW Workspaces budget for this purpose; and approved an increase to the overall budget of £237,880 to accommodate the works being undertaken on behalf of the new tenants of Portland House. The cost of these works being funded by the tenants.

Councillor Emma Evans, ADC Executive Member for Environment, has agreed to abstain as a Worthing matter.

 

To authorise Officers to extend the existing contract with Flowbird who are responsible for the maintenance of the existing parking equipment for an additional 3 years, from 2021 to 2024 which will allow Officers to go out to tender to procure new parking equipment in 2023/2024.
