Decisions

The Leader has determined the nominations received from Councillors for appointment to various outside organisations against the information in Annex B; and  having received representations from Councillors, the Leader has completed Annex C with his determination of the appointments taking into account 2.1 and matters raised in paragraph 4 of the report.

The Executive Members have agreed to adopt the recommended open space standards attached at Appendix 1; agreed the cost calculator attached at Appendix 2 adopted for use in calculating needs arising from development proposals; and that the calculator be published on the Councils’ website.

The Worthing Executive Member for Customer Services has agreed to abstain from this decision as an Adur matter.

The Adur Executive Member for Customer Services has approved the appointment of the preferred building contractor to carry out the refurbishment work required to provide 6 flats at 7-9 Albion Street, Southwick in accordance with the details set out in exempt Appendix 1; approved the revised budget for the scheme of £1,145,500 which can be accommodated within the overall temporary accommodation budget; and agreed to delegate to the Director for Communities the authority to execute the construction contract with the preferred tenderer and associated documents needed to complete the project.

Release of budget and delegation.

The Executive Member has agreed to delegate authority to the Director for the Economy, to award a contract for the new ventilation system for the Connaught Theatre and Studio to the most economically advantageous tender.
