Decision:

I agree to delegate authority to the Director for the Communities to:-

a)    Enter into the Nominations Agreement

b)    Execute the Grant Funding Agreement to release the sum of £720000 and

c)    Enter into a Data Sharing Agreement with Hyde Housing

Reasons for the decision:

The Council and Hyde Housing have agreed to terms of a Nomination Agreement for provision of Affordable Housing on land at Riverbank Business Center and 12-18 Old Shoreham Road, Shoreham By Sea (Ropetackle North) to provide 14 Social rented units and 12 Shared ownership units. These units are now built and Council nominated occupiers have already moved in thereby reducing Adur Homes Housing list however Adur will not be responsible for maintenance and repairs.

Alternative options considered:

Not to agree to the Grant Funding of Pounds 720.000 and having to find other accommodation for Adur residents on our housing list.
