Decision:

We note the content of this report and determine that:-

a.    Ratepayers will be made aware of their subsidy responsibilities detailed in paragraph 4.5

b.    The criteria proposed in paragraph 4.8 should be used when making awards

c.    Relief should be awarded to qualifying ratepayers in line with the percentages proposed in paragraph 4.10

Reasons for the decision:

Worthing Cabinet Member for Resources: Given the 30th September 2022 deadline the recommendation for automatic awards is approved, to avoid being required to return funds to central government.

Adur Executive Member for Resources: Happy to approve the recommendations in the report for the reasons stated therein.
