To grant a request by Laurence Fry, Director, Mindworks Escape Rooms Ltd, 26 Guildbourne Centre, Worthing seeking permission to use the Worthing Borough Council Crest, because "it fits in really well with the local theme of their escape room" and to be displayed in the lobby area
Reasons for the decision:
Having consulted the Leader of Worthing Borough Council, Daniel Humphreys, who agrees the use of the Worthing Borough Crest is an appropriate use for the local theme of the escape room at the Guildbourne Centre, Worthing.
Alternative options considered:
To not approve the use of the Worthing Borough Council Crest to be displayed in the lobby area of Mindworks Escape Rooms. I could find no valid reason for refusal.
