Members and Officers must declare any disclosable pecuniary interests in relation to any business on the agenda. Declarations should also be made at any stage an interest becomes apparent during the meeting.

There were no substitute Members.

In the opinion of the proper officer the press and public should be excluded from

the meeting for consideration of item 3. Therefore the meeting is asked to

consider passing the following resolution:

‘that under section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and

public be excluded from the meeting from the following items of business on the

grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in

the paragraph of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act indicated against the item.’

To consider a report by the Director for Sustainability & Resources, copy attached as item 4.

Before the Sub-Committee was a report by the Director for Sustainability & Resources, which has been circulated to all Members, a copy of which is attached to the signed copy of these minutes as item 3. Members were requested to consider and determine an application for a Licence Review from Trading Standards.

The committee carried out the procedure before it.

The meeting was adjourned to be reconvened on 9 September 2024 as the Licence holders representative produced some material that had not been seen by Officers or Members.

The meeting reconvened on 9 September 2024 but, as the interpreter was unable to attend the meeting, was closed to be held in its entirety at a later date.
