Decision:
To authorise additional expenditure of £5,000 on Phase 1 of the Splashpoint Fire Damper project. The additional funds will be vired from the underspent Worthing asbestos budget.
Reasons for the decision:
The tendered costs for Phase 1 of the fire damper project are such that costs are likely to exceed the available budget of £195,000 which. It is prudent to add the additional funds to provide flexibility and allow for the issue of timely instructions during the period of on site works.
