To award a contract for one year via Direct award to StatMap for Earthlight & Aurora GIS system
Total Contract Costs = £29,817.46 + VAT
Pre-allocated revenue funds will be used for the contract.
This is a 1-year renewal of an existing contract.
Reasons for the decision:
Core mapping and GIS system used throughout the Councils by Planning, Parks, Waste, Legal, Estates, Environmental Health, Coastal, Customer Services and more. Currently 140 individual monthly active users. Also used on the public website for links from Local Plans. Based on the due date this needs to be renewed.
Alternative options considered:
SaaS option from same supplier considers, but has a migration cost. We are preparing a project to consider system technical requirements for the future and appraisals of current systems on the market.
